Asdivine Saga is a fantasy RPG reminiscent of Final Fantasy that features a compelling narrative, beautiful pixel art, and rich turn-based combat. It’s well worth a try if you enjoy playing RPGs like me or for people who just like great adventures.
In Asdivine Saga, I was placed in a world of knights, monsters, and mysteries. I played Vyse, a mercenary trying to uncover dark secrets and the reason behind the spawning of multiple monsters across the land. In this adventure, I got to meet different characters and face knights, kings, and more than a handful of creatures seeking to kill me. I enjoyed Asdivine Saga for its turn-based combat which allowed me to battle enemies using normal attacks, magic, and other mystical items. Combat wasn’t that complicated, though, but it was deep and amusing enough to challenge me against the most powerful enemies I faced.
I also loved that I could explore areas in Asdivine Saga and search for loot and unlock chests. Exploring is more than enough to get me going, so scavenging around Asdivine Saga felt really fun to do, and especially fulfilling when I came across a bedazzled chest.
I had a blast playing Asdivine Saga, even if it was for only an hour. The game feels great and the controls perform smoothly. The narrative’s nothing different from most RPGs, but it’s at least amusing and filled with banter and humor. Asdivine Saga’s challenging, but only where it needs to be. Oh, and the game does feature an auto-play and auto-battle mechanic to make progression a little easier, which I personally admired very much. Although the visuals satisfied me, it might not be everybody’s cup of tea. That said, with everything else the game entails, Asdivine Saga is definitely well worth playing.
