I started playing this game since it launched in india, not much craze at that time.... Slowly i got addicted to it and i deleted the game as i was preparing for my secondary annual exams.
Then came the year 2020.
It was a strange time, being stuck inside during quarantine due to the pandemic. Life was monotonous, missed my friends, missed playing outside, couldn't go to school, i felt very lonely.
And all of a sudden the craze for pubg revived once again. I called my friends, created a squad and the rest was a beautiful memory that still bringa tears to my eyes.
At first, it was just an idea, but soon enough, it became a regular thing that we did every day. We would set up a time and arrange to meet online, and then start playing. We would all be on the same team, and play competitively against the other teams in the game- it was intense but also a lot of fun.
The time we used to spend playing felt like a breath of fresh air, a break from the monotony of quarantine life. We had so much fun playing together, chatting and laughing at each other's attempts to outsmart the opposition. It created a sense of camaraderie between us, and I cherish those moments to this day.
Quarantine may have been a difficult time, but it brought us together in ways that hadn't been possible before. It may have been just a game, but it meant a lot to us - it was a way of escaping from reality, if only for a little while. We may no longer play PUBG mobile together, but the memories of those days will stay with us for a long time.
