Old Monterrey PROS and CONS. Is it Good?

Old Monterrey is a fun small platfomer, but this comes with some drawbacks. In this article we will talk about both good and bad sides of Old Monterrey so you can decide if this is the right game for you.
PROS
1. Great controls. Only 3 buttons, hard to misclick, responsive and overall you get hang of your character control really fast. Moreover you dont overslide too much when you move or jump in the game, which is a nice thing.
2. Funny Story. You have to save goats to save the world. What not to love about this?
3. Difficulty scaling. You start with easy levels and move on to more complex ones. Learn and adapt as you play, so you wont have to face too many things at the same time.
CONS
1. Game is short. Only 17 levels, and those arent THAT complex.
2. Simple gameplay. Its both good and bad side of the game. There is no progression, growth, equipment or anything. Just run, jump and save goats.
Verdict. Is Old Monerrey Good?
Old Monterrey is a good small game. Its free. If you like platformer game or you are fancy to try one, this one might be a good start. You can go through the game in 1 or 2 evenings though, so dont expect a long journey.

It's not going to blow anyone's mind, but Old Monterrey really is sort of the platonic ideal of a mobile platformer. You can move left and right. You can double-jump. And you have to traverse challenging levels to find and rescue a bunch of goats. Sometimes it's just that simple!
What surprised me is how Old Monterrey expands from its humble tutorial levels. After the first five or so levels, which are basically old-school Mario-style straight shots from left to right, the levels get much bigger. Each level becomes its own little Metroid-esque exploration challenge.
