47 View2020-10-09Set in a spaceship, Among Us is a multiplayer party game, supporting four to ten players. One to three of these players will be selected as Impostors, while others are Crewmates. The goals of the Crewmates are to complete tasks to prepare the ship or eject all Impostors. And for the Impostors, they aim to blend in, frame bystanders and kill Crewmates.
One important part of Among Us is Emergency Meeting, where players gather together to chat and vote for other players they think might be Impostors.
Currently, all the emergency meetings and accusations in Among Us are done in the form of text. And although it does not have an in-game voice chat function, some players are using Discord to communicate during game.
In-game voice chat can be fun and convenient, but it can be chaotic sometimes. Reddit user u/AndyToskovic suggests that Among Us should have automatically mutes and unmutes at the appropriate times.
