Sephirtoic Stories has been imported to mobile devices. You can play a trial version which lets you play to a certain point that makes you buy the complete version if you want to continue playing. The full version is $7.99 USD and also comes with 1000 SEP which is the games premium currency that can be used to buy items/gear in the shop. It has all the core rpg elements to it to make it fun but the battle system for me felt boring. At least early on the battles were more annoying than fun. They would only last a few seconds and the battle animations were not exciting at all. There was very little battle effects, even when using fire magic the fire that would put up seemed dull.
The fun part of the game is exploring the world and solving puzzles. I loved the game mechanics it has where you need to change your leader hero you are controlling in order to get different effects. When you start off the main hero has the ability to see enemies but if you switch to the alligator hero the emeries are invisible to him making it harder for you to avoid random battles. There is also characters that can light up a dark cave and allow you to cross ropes. So, each hero has their own special ability for when they are the leader.
Overall, its about an average RPG experience that some may enjoy and some may not. I say to try the trial version first to see if you like it. The audio was about average with some decent background music. The sound effects were a little off and at times too loud compared to the background music. The joy stick control was also very annoying. It was very difficult to move the character around the map.
