Transoxiana (Demo) - A Good TURN BASED Game this is NOT!

I recently tried out this Transoxiana demo and at first I was pretty intrigued by this game that looked like a turn based strategy game, similar to something like the Civilization series, but on mobile... And while it was most definitely a turn based strategy game... I don't know about the rest of this incredibly bare bones demo. Gameplay wise the game offers zero tutorial on how to play this game. You are just presented with a main menu where you can choose 2 warring factions or just keep it at random, and then to choose a random game after that. And when you get into the game itself, it really doesn't explain how to play it, or which army is yours.

It took several presses on different units before I kind of figured out which team I was playing. You can just hit the auto button next to the timer in the bottom right corner and just let the 2 armies go at it on automatic until you either lose or win. And once that's done, the match is over and you go back to the main screen. There is no main story or any such thing.

Just start a random match, try and figure out how to play this thing or just auto it. I understand this is a demo, but yeah... it's so bare bones and frankly very boring that I was glad there wasn't much more to figure out in this demo. Is the full game going to have many more game modes? A main campaign? Or is this really all the game has to offer.

You don't even build any bases, or grow cities. It's just a very basic turn based war map and that's it. Visually it's also so basic. There is very little to tell which army belongs to who, they all look the same minus some coloring differences. And the combat effects are so plain as well.

I love turn based strategy games, I play a lot of XCOM 2, XCOM Enemy Unknown, and the Civilization series, but this game... Is a shell of what those games offer. Overall I'd say that this demo of Transoxiana is just really not it. It's so bland, and the game is really very boring. It just didn't feel like a good turn based strategy game and at the moment I just can't recommend this game in its current state. Perhaps the full version will be very different, but for now, I just can't recommend this game at all.

This game has enough quirkiness that makes it good. It has enough content in its demo to play for some time and having tutorial in game helps us players know what's what, although it's still rough because it still is on demo, it has potential to be a good strategy game. Ps. Btw I liked that the player can control one of the troops (kinda goofy lol, in a good way) and the troops having skills is good addition.

A demo version that will be improved in the future.
It has a lot of bugs and clunkiness to it but it is a given for this is just a demo version if improved right this will be the next big thing for an RTS game on mobile. Based on the wars of the empires the base models are quite good, when I say base it will be improved to a much more details and HD version. After selecting the Campaign Batlle if I click on the unit I was stuck, so I tried the random battle and the battle scenarios work a strategy game that I will be waiting for in the future. Need a lot of improvement, but it will be worth the wait? We will see.

This strategy war game is different.
This wargame isn't like the others. There are no characters in troop moving or epic fight animation. It is comfortable for the eyes, on the other hand, it is kind of boring haha. I only see circles of sign moving. It does take me some time to get the hang of the gameplay. Furthermore, it seems like six types of troops stay the same throughout the game.
