Samorost 3 PROS and CONS. Is it good?

Samorost 3 is an adventure game that stands out from the rest, it have great puzzles and reviews, but its not perfect.

In this article we will talk about both good and bad sides of Samorost 3 so you can decide if this is the right game for you.

PROS

1. Unique puzzles.

Samorost 3 have some unique custom-made puzzles, that are really great. There is no description, no rules, you have to figure it all out yourself. Try, experiment and try to find the connections to solve them. It might feel confusing at first, but a lot of fun once you get puzzle done.

2. Its all about space.

I really like the idea how main character strives to go to space. Even though I had some concerns when the spaceship was build, it seems to work ok. And once this is done you can set out and explore your surroundings.

3. No letters, no text.

All dialogues, quests, hints and basically everything else is done via visual representation. Its cool, and it allow the game to be played by people who dont know English or if the game isnt localized in their language.

CONS

1. Some dialogues are too long and unskippable.

I am inpatient person, and the fact that I couldnt skip some dialogues, or just make them go faster really got on me. Although there are not that many around. But yeah, you should be patient to play this game, events unfolds pretty slow.

2. Too much moving around.

Again, probably its just me, but the game requires me to go back and forth around the island to bring things from one place to another. Good thing is that character moves pretty fast. But yeah, I've seen worse.

Verdict. Is Samorost 3 good?

Yes. For people who like puzzle-adventure games and specifically this graphical style is will be a fantastic game. For average players it will be unique experience, so they will know if they like it or not. But be careful not to get bored during dialogues and complex puzzles without guidance.
