We are looking at the far future of technology when Humans and Robots work together...Nothing wrong will ever happen with this...Nope...LIES!
Today we are looking at a game called Atomic Heart
developed by Mundfish
This game was visually stunning and had a great level and world design. Several things bothered me, but overall I like this game and the developers who put a lot of work into it.
Some things about Atomic heart annoyed me greatly, but I could handle them.
Summary:
A global system failure happens at the Soviet Facility №3826, leading machinery to rebel against the people. You are Major P-3, and your task is to eliminate the consequences of a large-scale accident and prevent the leakage of classified information threatening to destroy the whole world.
My Experience
The atomic heart game is thrilling; whenever you walk, you think you are safe and have time to reload and take a breath. Until you are caught on cameras and swarms of robots, start coming at you.
I loved it, but some things bothered me, like:
Why are these robots literal bullet sponges!!
Even the most basic robot can take two shotgun shots, or another version can take 4-8 shots before they start becoming more aggressive.
Sometimes you can feel abit lost while playing the game, trying to figure out where to go, or the feeling you have to be stealthy alot.
The two ways you can go are either Play it safe/ Guns Blazing. The other option is to play it safe and be stealthy.
After venturing, this futuristic world reminds me greatly of the Bioshock world under the sea and in the sky.
Pros and Cons of Atomic Heart:
Pros:
Amazing Visual Design
Weapon Design
Unique Mechanics
Weird Sexual Vending Machine
A good amount of Open world experience
Cons:
There are glitches here and there
Some Lagging
Dialog is abit mistranslated and alittle bit weird
Verdict
Even with some of the issues that are going on with Atomic heart, this is still an exciting Sci-fi Survivor game (Depending if you are playing Console or PC)
I had alot of fun and an exciting experience going through the missions, side quest, and hearing this very mood-changing Vending machine.
