So if you haven't heard of the game " The Forest."
An island filled with Cannibalistic people and your son being kidnapped away by them.
This is a sequel to that game with alot of improvements and fixes, and the monsters are abit more aggressive than the first one.
Today's game we are looking at today is called " Sons of the Forest."
Summary:
Sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island, you find yourself in a cannibal-infested hellscape. Craft, build, and struggle to survive, alone or with friends, in this terrifying new open-world survival horror simulator.
My Experience:
So we are looking at another survivor game, but you can have an AI companion now. Even though this AI Companion is abit buggy, they are beneficial to help build things, collect resources, and do some other things you can allow the AI partner to do for you.
Seeing how the first Forest game started way differently with meeting the weird cannibalistic creatures since they didn't show up until way later, but now after day two, they do show up abit stronger than the first ones.
They plan to add other new things to the game, such as Seasons from Spring, Summer, and Winter!
There will be a significant change to the gameplay and how you continue.
Along with some other things like, for example, giving you an emergency bag with a good amount of early supplies

Some of these enemies feel like they do too much damage so early
I feel like there should be an option not to have the AI partner if you don't want them
There will be no Verdict for Early Access games.
Since it is still in the works if you want to give $30 to help support the developers and help improve the game.
Then I say defiantly worth the fans of " The Forest" Game and keep an eye out for updates for Sons of the forest.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT?
Play it! I’d even go so far as to say that gamers who don’t normally enjoy survival games should give Sons of the Forest a chance. This follow-up to 2018’s much-loved The Forest makes some brilliant strides toward taking some of the tedium out of the survival genre, which allows for more time to focus on the exploration and tinges of horror that the original did so well.
