Not familiar with the manga or anime, saw this a while ago, pre-registered, installed last weekend.
I like the game mechanics. A lot of effort went into this. I'm going to stick with it. Not really sure what's going on, but I'm following along, albeit slowly to ensure that I'm getting it.
Traditionally, with games like this, in early game I'm easily bored and impatient with plot development.
If there's action that usually holds my interest. If not then my eyes glaze over at too many text conversations that are designed to flesh out the story. Yawn.
Yes I should care, though the hook to make you invest your time should pay off, there should be some reasonable interest, not merely overly long story, conversations (drawn out and protracted) which is the lead-in for a fight sequence.
This formula is passe. But it is what it is. It's still okay here. But you decide.
Me? I'm going to stick with it for a while longer.
This month's centrefold, "Twin pole" gives it 5 licks. 😜
