Summary:
Phantom Brigade is a hybrid real-time and turn-based tactical RPG focusing on in-depth customization and player-driven stories. As the last surviving squad of mech pilots, you must capture enemy equipment and facilities to level the playing field. Outnumbered and out-gunned, lead the Phantom Brigade through a desperate campaign to retake their war-torn homeland.
My experience is playing Phantom Bridge.
So the gameplay reminds me abit of Super Robot Wars, except you can see real-time actions with how the enemies move to how to go about the next turn.
You are customizing your robot from color, body config, weapons, and color.
I like these types of Strategy RPG games because they involve more of myself in the game and have more customization. Even though the characters aren't customized, this game is enjoyable. Even though some things bothered me while playing the game, such as:
Lack of Mission Variety
Alittle buggy
Maybe a future replay button of the whole match
The UI is abit weird but manageable.
And some other minor things that didn't bother me but other than that, I immensely enjoyed it.

Features:
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre:
Predict enemy movements.
Orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures.
Hit "execute" to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
An exquisite arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland's invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategy: Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources.
Tactical Combat: Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Customization: Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
Highly moddable – Phantom Brigade has been designed to be highly player moddable from the ground up. Mix things up by playing the game with a community mod enabled, or try creating your modded masterpiece!
Destructible environments could be a better game about giant mechs with destructible buildings! Shatter your enemy's cover and collapse buildings on top of them! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed.

Pros and Cons of Phantom Brigade
Pro:
Highly Customizable
Innovative Concept
Detailed Gaming Environments
Challenging levels
Cons:
UI is abit confusing, and most players didn't like it
The Combat is abit of a hit-and-miss sometimes; it can be gratifying to very dull
Alot of Unnecessary clicking throughout the game
Verdict:
With all that said about Phantom Brigade, I had much fun with this exciting concept and customization with your Mechs. In a way, this game feels like an XCOM/Battletech-like game.
Worth the price for a small team of developers!

I dig giant robots, but this mech tactics game is a mixed bag - Phantom Brigade Quick Review
PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you're a fan of games like Battletech, but be aware that it has some problems. Phantom Brigade features awesome-looking mechs and a unique combat system, but performance issues and unintuitive gameplay make it a frustrating experience. There’s a lot to like here, especially if you love mechs, but it falls short of other games in the turn-based tactics genre. TIME PLAYED
