Deep Space First Contact is a mobile space sci-fi horror game which it's an interesting concept for a horror game but the game's "alien" seeks out the player like he’s on complete steroids. There's no hiding mechanic and once the Alien touches you its instant death and youll restart back at your last mission. The major screen shake you get can be a bit disorienting but nothing too major. Which makes this horror game quite lack luster since most hiding games have a run feature and all you have is a fast draining light to help illuminate hallways. Also, there's no markers or guides that lead you to your next objective so you're mostly lost just dying to the alien over and over.
You must navigate the space station and complete tasks in order to prepare a getaway vessel. Activate the main generator, open the hangar doors, but most importantly, watch your back – a deadly alien creature stalks your every move as you search the facility! Use stealth, strategy, and speed to evade the creature and survive long enough to escape.
My biggest gripe about the game is the lack of navigation system. Like the objectives will tell you to go somewhere and youll be walking in circles before you actually find something. Now there is a price tag for the mobile game as it cost $1.99USD for both Android and iOS and this gameplay you're watching is currently being played on my iPhone XR.
Overall gameplay is your usual horror game like the Outlast series or any of Puppet Combo games, you're trapped in a location and need to find a way to escape. The since of dread begins because you have no way of defending yourself feels like Dead by Daylight all over again but this time the flashlight cant blind the killer (for all my DBD fans). If the devs can add some way of hiding from the alien, add some navigation feature regarding quests, or even make the alien AI get smarter kind of the Alien Isolation game was then we got ourselves a good horror game for mobile.
Alien Isolation it is already on Android and iOS. 😊🙏
