My Experience:
Another genre of gaming I don't play much, but it is fun from time to time:
A simple mechanic is defending your castle against oncoming enemies, leveling up your castle defenses, and upgrading your characters for more damage.
Not my particular cup of tea for this type of genre, but I do like it, so I don't have to pay too much attention to it.
