netease's goal was to make DBD mobile a cash grab which killed the gameplay and made the gacha fell like the real goal, even in game the effects of gacha can be felt through P2w mechanics, all the update did was kill the f2p playerbase and I expect the game to die in the following years, after all a game is nothing without the playerbase and dbd's mobile is in a constant decline. their only hope is to revert it and make the ad chest even more significant by making auric cells less viable from all other sources
