WWE 2K23 is a new PC/Console wrestling game, with a lot of things to do, but is it good?

Pros:

You have huge amount of wrestlers to pick from, including the retired ones, so you can make a matchup of your dreams

2. Realistic graphics and animations

WWE 2K23 graphics is so good that its almost indistinguishable from the movie or tv. There are just some minor animation movements that allow you to see that its a game.

3. Authentic presentation and production values, including commentary and ring introductions

WWE 2K23 just like wrestling TV shows. Each character introduction, they have the commentators, crowd that reacts to wrestlers moves and such small but fun things that makes it feel like you are watching it on TV

4. Deep customization options for creating your own wrestler and arenas

A lot of things to customize, looks, clothes, moves. You can even create your own wrestler. Its easy to get lost in customization tool for hours picking small things for your wrestler.

5. Large variety of match types and modes, including single-player and multiplayer options

Just trying out each game mode will take several hours. A lot a lot of things to do, starting from one on one fight, ending with some custom scenario fights with specific tasks and perks.

Cons:

1. Sometimes buggy and glitchy gameplay, particularly in the early days of release

Game hanged on me once, and sometimes you can see models collision dont work as they should. Especially near the ropes. Its not that serious, but puts off during the fight.

2. Can have a steep learning curve for new players, especially in terms of mastering the timing and mechanics of the various moves and counters

Amount of available moves and controls you have to remember is huge, especially if you never played a fighting game before. You get prompts on the screen when you can do counter or something like that, but have a split second to react. If you arent used to that you might lose the fight.

3. Story modes and career modes can feel repetitive and lacking in depth

WWE 2K23 fun at the start, but there are not that many progression mechanics. So if you are into character development and progression, you might get bored.

4. Limited innovation and improvement between sequels, leading to a sense of stagnation in the franchise

Just like UFC and Fight Night Franchise, WWE dont have that many innovations from one game to another. A bit better graphics, more fighters, but core mechanics stays the same.

Yes

Its a good game if you like Sports Games, specifically Wrestling. It have fantastic graphics, energetic moves, a lot of action and game modes, and multitude of customization options. Every wrestling fan can enjoy their favorite wrestlers and their signature moves.
