Highwater is an exclusive mobile game for Netflix that really surprised me. You must login to your Netflix account before you can play. The game has you playing as a lone survivor in a world where everything has been flooded due to a disaster with the climate. Most of the world is submerged with some random pieces of land that now make up islands. You travel the area on a boat and go to different islands gathering resources and meeting other survivors.
The story is one of the strong parts of the game as it feels very realistic and something that could definitely happen to us. The dialogue between the characters is funny at times and never feels boring or pointless. Aside from exploring the game also features a turn-based combat system. These don't play out like typical games though, because most of the battles has specific items on the board that must be interacted with in order to actually win the battle. You can't just move and attack. It's more like a puzzle solving turn-based combat system.
The audio is amazing and by far the best part of the game. It features an exclusive radio station style with custom soundtracks. It reminds me of the radio stations in the Fallout series. I recommend you check this game out and give it a try if you have a Netflix account. It is a lot of fun and will surprise you for sure.
A Netflix exclusive game that has a very interesting storyline.
I'm intrigued by the gameplay depicted in the series High Water. The graphics are not too shabby considering it's free, and I love the turn-based system on encounters of different enemies or characters caught up in the crisis. I love seeing the game through as if I'm just watching it. Definitely something worth the try if you are a fan of the franchise.

Enthusiasts have come up with the idea of cutting out a license that does not check whether a person has a subscription or not. Highwater offers to embark on a journey across the Earth, which was overtaken by a climate catastrophe. All the billionaires want to fly to Mars, but a bunch of young people will have to find shelter in the flooded Hightower region, where the rich are hiding. Gamers will have to travel by boat, make friends, fight off rebels, steal supplies and find out where the dog is buried. The developers promise a well-developed world with a twisted plot and unforgettable characters. Gamers will also participate in turn-based battles with puzzles. They also wrote an exclusive soundtrack for the game, and some of it will be played by characters.
