Passage: Chapters 1+2 is a job interview simulation game with lots of interesting text dialogues and a good story plot. I actually enjoyed playing this visual novel adventure game as it is a bit relatable to the real life situation. In this game its shown that the main character is quite anxious and nervous about the job interviews and gets nightmares about the incoming interview.
To guide him through the interview, he has imagined an imaginary character called Toth to assist him with complicated interview questions and select best answer choices. The game seems to have multiple endings depending upon the answers you pick. Its good to see that this game can be played in both portrait mode and landscape mode but in portrait mode, the visual content is a bit distorted and a bit hard to read.
In the gameplay, you will be asked a lot of questions during the interview. With each question comes a lot of answer options. After a question is asked, Toth will analyze the question and will help you bit with selecting the right answer. After selecting an answer, Toth will give a review/feedback of your answer. There are a lot of real life type dialogues and you can fast forward the conversation if you want to.
I really appreciated the "LOG" feature at the bottom of the screen, where you can backtrack the conversation done so far. It did help me with making correct choices. I found the questions to be quite realistic sometimes and sometimes just exaggerated and dramatic.
Overall, this game is quite interesting with good dialogues and smooth storyline progression. Real life like scenario and dialogues makes this game like a job interview simulator where you can practice your job interview skills and see if you can make it out with a success! I do recommend you guys to try this game out especially if you are a bit interested on job interviews.
