Okay, I have to start this list with one of the best board games in the world: Monopoly! I can’t get enough of this game and the way it tears friendships apart.
“Look, I’m not going to trade you any of my property cards and you can deal with it. No, that’s not how chance cards work, put it back!”
Yes, most of us have been there and I’m sure we’ve all buried ourselves deep into a rulebook to prove a point, but with this version of Monopoly at a fair price, say goodbye to all the pesky micro-management needed to keep a game going.
Monopoly is available on mobile and has a system to take care of all the movement, card flipping, and almost everything else that the classic board game would need players to manually do. This feature means less hassle, more gameplay, and a buttload of fun. Oh, and you can play the game with other people no matter where you are.

I’m a sucker for detective board games and Cluedo’s a great example. With Mysterium, I get everything I want out of a great cooperative deduction game like the thrill of gathering intel and uncovering the truth. It’s the classic “whodunnit” game but with ghosts. Boooooooo!
Mysterium is set in the 1920s in which a ghost guides a group of psychics to uncover a murderer, as well as the weapon and location of the murder, using only visual clues. The players choose between different roles, the ghost or the psychics, and attempt to unravel a murder mystery. The great thing about Mysterium is that it’s available for a few bucks on PC, Android, and iOS and it’s cross-platform too.
