Riot has finally decided to bring down the nerf hammer on Ezreal and his core item, Manamune/Muramana.

Here are my thoughts on the nerfs:

Ezreal nerf: Too small to shift the power balance. The reasons why Ezreal is so dominant right now are not solved by this nerf. Whilst the 1st skill nerf does affect some of his damage output, his high mobility and ability to weave in and out of fights are what keeps him top tier. I would've much rather seen a nerf on his 3rd skill's cooldown, or his ult damage if they wanted to nerf his laning phase 2v2.

Manamune/Muramana nerf: Not really a deal breaker, but does affect the amount of damage Ezreal does provide since he builds more than 1 mana item. The nerf does take out a hefty chunk of AD but I would still consider Ezreal to be strong.
