11K View2023-03-28Contra: Tournament – a battle royale that replicates Fortnite and similar games. In it, about 100 players are sent to mine rare weapons and equipment in different parts of the map in an attempt to survive. In general, you can’t find fault with the game — the graphics are good by the standards of mobile battle royale, the interface allows you to change the body kit of weapons on the fly, items are divided into rarity levels and so on. But who can have complaints, so it’s Capcom. The fact is that Contra: Tournament uses character models and even the Contra brand itself, which is owned by Capcom. Judging by the screenshots and description, the developers have made a love letter to the old franchise, but they do not have any ties with Capcom. I am glad that players can unite in a squad of 4 people so that it is not so boring — the sound series consists of shots and player steps.

A Different Contra? Contra: Tournament - Gameplay Review!
Contra: Tournament is an action shooter mutiplayer mobile game. Honestly, this game reminded me of PUBG right away with the basic gameplay features but with classic CONTRA characters in it. For a classic 2D adventure contra player like me, this game is certainly being presented in different gameplay style compared to its classic gameplay mode. None the less, the graphics, audio and massive open world are quite awesome in this game where our contra characters can do lots of stuff. Personally, I liked the character artworks and attack animations in this game which feels quite real and nice.
