MadTale is an idle RPG mobile game with lots of fairy tale characters. I really loved the captivating story plot of the game together with wonderful voiceovers for the characters in the game. There is a very good sense of story progression in this game with the main protagonist being little red riding hood. I also liked the smooth and high quality graphics of this game together with cool background music which gave a fantastic high quality gameplay experience. Sadly, I did not find the battle mechanics to be that interesting because its 100% auto mode and we can't control our characters for any mid battle tactical plan change.

Looking into the gameplay, our team can consist of 5 partners (characters). Sadly, you can't control your characters in the battle. The battle sequence is 100% auto mode. All you can do is change the battle speed and make changes to your partners placement in the team formation. I think that the battle mechanics is pretty much a cliché from a lot of other idle rpg mobile games and does not offer much fun during the battle mode, other than to just watch the characters fighting and using special skills. Surprisingly, I found the special skills of our partners to be very very powerful compared to the basic attacks.

Other than that, I really loved the waifus available in this game. There are lots of waifus with great artwork and design. If you are interested in husbandos, then there are a lot of them as well derived from the fairy tale series.

Most of all, I really appreciated the high gacha rate for epic partners in the game which is 4.70% drop rate. This rate will allow you to rack up epic partners very fast! And you will get your favorite epic partner pretty fast with high RNG rate provided. On top of that, even friendship recruit can give you a good chance to get your hands on epic partner (1.5%). This is really awesome.

Sticking to its RPG genre, this game has provided a lot of ways to upgrade and improve your partners. you can level them up and provide them various gears to improve their stats and abilities in the battle. Higher the stats, better the battle performance.

Overall, this game is massive fun with lots of fairy tale characters to play with! Massive gacha rate surely makes this game quite good for the free to play players as well to rack up highest rarity units in their lineup. Gameplay is surely outdated and copy-paste but the story plot, graphics and sound experience makes game quite interesting. Surprisingly for an idle RPG mobile game, its has quite heavy data size.
