Filthy Animals looks hilarious at the first sight. Rampaging around as a huge funny animal, sounds nice, right? Lets figure out if its good?

PROS

1. Hilarious storyline

Yes, Filthy Animals have some plot to it and it includes poor pets being washed into the toilet, mutations and conspiracy. Sounds fun, but I wont spoil it too much for you, see for yourself.

2. Interesting coop gameplay

Filthy Animals is made to be played together with friends. I tested it alone and it was kinda ok, but I feel how much havoc it would be if I had some friends around. Since every and any action you do will most likely cause some distraction and characters clumsiness will make everything even more hilarious.

3. Character progression

Its not great, but its there. I honestly wasnt expecting to see anything like that in Filthy Animals. You can level your characters in the heist unlocking special perks and moves that will help you in the future or will just make everything even more awkward.

4. Humor

Filthy Animals is full of stupid jokes and things that are looking goofy and hilarious. I prefer other type of humor, but I can tell there will be a lot of players who will find it fun and interesting.

CONS

1. Controls

I understand that Filthy Animals was supposed to be played as controlling a ragdoll. Your character hits everything around, falls on the ground all the time and tries to pick up things that you dont want it to pick up. Even moving in a straight line could be a challenge.

2. Lack of Matchmaking

Since Filthy Animals is tuned to be played together with someone lack of matchmaking is making it hard to find a team to play with. It seems that you will need a premade team in order to play it together. You are out of luck if your friends are busy or you have none.

3. Lack of explanation

Filthy Animals have a tutorial, but it just explains the basics to you in a very vague way. You will have to learn on your own how npc behave, how exactly you need to reach your goals and if you can just cause a massacre and kill everyone. Defo not a stealthy tactical game.

Verdict. Is Filthy Animals Good?

Depends

If you want to fool around with friends for a couple of evenings Filthy Animals might be a good game for you. Dont expect strategic gameplay and planning though, its more like "lets raze this place to the ground" gameplay than "this heist should be carefully planned" one.

At least you havent paid anything for this game CONS 1. Blunt gameplay. Animals move around, you can aim and shoot them. You also can use x-ray and slow down time for easier aiming. Thats it. All the animals are being oneshot, no matter where you shoot and what weapon you pick. You have 15 stages available for you, consisting of the same 5-7 encounters.
