A First Look @ Stories From The Outbreak

This one's for the roguelite fans in the Audience. I recently had the chance to look at Coldwild Games recently released 'Stories From The Outbreak'. Admittedly, this title is still early access -and- the developers admitted there are certain elements they are keen to fix and change. Still, I wanted to talk about what the experience was currently like.
(And hey, if you folks are keen on it- I can always come back, and review the finished title. Just leave a message to that extent in the comments. Maybe I'll pin down the Dev for an Interview as well).

Fantastic game. One of most beautiful looking roguelite game. Gameplay is innovative and very engaging unlike most other games in this genre like vampire survivors or survivor.io. And for a newly released game I was surprised how much content it has as I'm still unlocking new characters and maps.

What if The Walking Dead was a roguelike RPG? - Stories from the Outbreak Quick First Impressions
PLAY IT OR SKIP IT Play it, even if you’re not a huge fan of early access games. Stories from the Outbreak is an incredibly addictive roguelike that I haven’t been able to tear myself away from. The concept is simple — travel across a dying world, meet survivors, search for supplies, and fight off any undead that cross your path — but there’s something about the gameplay loop I can’t get enough of. Every run is unique, but there’s enough repetition that I feel like I’m learning something new with each playthrough. Add in some solid turn-based combat and a character-focused progression system, and you’ve got a delicious zombie stew going.
