Behind the Frame is a point and click adventure mobile game with fascinating artworks and story content. I really appreciated the classic artworks and paintings in this game, which you can sketch or color. There is a cool anime style story plot to this game, where you are a female painter character who is aspiring to be a professional contract artist. There are lots of colors to play with to create great paintings which are vital to our career success. Unfortunately, this game is not free to play and you have to purchase this game first before you can play any of its contents. It did cost me $3.99 USD.
Looking into the gameplay, you will be provided with an outline sketch and all you need to do is to properly paint them with appropriate color with your paintbrush. You can easily select other colors and all you need to do is to tap and hold around the painting area or paint colors.
What really intrigued me the most is the anime style story content in this game. I felt as if I was watching and playing an anime game content. Honestly, I found my anime character to be quite beautiful and this game has done quite good in giving her a great personality as an aspiring painter. While playing the game, you can check out her room which is full of great looking paintings. You can even see her bed, sofa and her kitchen where you can play various mini games like making a cup of coffee or cooking some egg and toasts.
This game also has missions that you need to complete to progress through the game. The missions are posted as to-do list and you have to do them in a sequential manner as the game character wants. After doing all of that, certain anime cutscenes play to give more continuity to the game story content. I really loved doing the missions as they were like puzzles and were quite interesting.
Our main characters seems to be quite fascinated by the old man next house with good window view. That old man seems to be a great painter and she really loves his paintings. Our artist character seems to be pretty good at painting whatever she sees and she does make a good comment on all of them. These factors does give a very nice detail to the gameplay progression.
Overall, this game is quite amazing and awesome. I do recommend you guys to try this game out which has quite interesting story plot to it. The game is quite interactive with its point and click mechanics and there are various mini games to keep you busy when taking break from the main gaming content. Unfortunately, you will have to purchase this game before playing. If you are an aspiring painter, then this game could be very relatable to you and can be helpful too to expand your perspective as a painter. That said, let me know in the comments on your opinions in this game. Cheers!
