The Great Picasso once said, "Good artists copy. Great artists steal.", and this one is just.. terrible at copying and adapting ideas.
Once you dive into your first 10 minutes into the game, you'll start noticing these strange familiar feelings through out the entire game, familiarities from other popular gacha games such as; Alchemy Stars, Arknights, Honkai to Genshin, etc. I personally don't mind if games copying another games, especially when it's done right, or even better. In fact, I'd be happy if new games copied my favorite games from the past, because that way I'll know for sure it'll be another good games I'd like to play. This game took a lot of inspirations from other popular gacha games, but they just don't work that well.
TapTap
Gameplay wise, It's just okay. Fast paced, flashy, decent animations. Tho, I must admit that the general idea behind the combat mechanic is pretty interesting, but it didn't worked well. There's a too much automation and idle-ish elements in it (that's what most gacha games are like nowadays tbh), which is I'm personally not a fan of. That's exactly why I feel a bit cheated and lied to, because the game tries to convince me that this game is a real-time combat RPG.. While in actuality, the game felt more like an idle RPG instead.
TapTap
And then, there's this horrible stamina system. The amount of stamina you get daily in this game will only get you probably 5-10 minutes of gameplay. Per day. There's literally nothing, in any form of gameplay, you could do without stamina. And it's ridiculous that the game also isn't that generous on giving away free stamina packs to fill it up, like what most gacha games does on their day-1 release for new players. And this is just one thing of many issues I have with this game. This one alone would cause the game to be completely unplayable. And this is one of the biggest issues I have with this game.
TapTap
And lastly, I really think that I need to address this one particular issue. It's something that been plaguing modern day gacha games, and this is probably the biggest problem I have with this game. We all know that gacha games typically has a very generic story and premises, but this game took this stereotype into a whole new level.
The entire introduction of the game, was soooo lame, it's actually hilarious. It's the LAZIEST story writing I've seen in recent years. And of course, our main character is gotta be a random faceless guy with amnesia, so the game doesn't have to make a whole character background story for him.

Fantasyland?? Seriously? You can come up with a pretty cool sounding made up names like Eruthyll, Dubriostal, Crystalis Conflux, and others.. But, Fantasyland? 💀
You see, people aren't that shallow or stupid anymore. Gun wielding pretty girls and big slappy jiggly buns aren't the only reason for people playing gacha games nowadays. They're also looking for actual good story and enjoyable gameplay too. The likes of Arknights, Honkai, Genshin, or PGR, are known for their good story writing and world building. Their combat are also smooth, snappy, and enjoyable to some people, depending on their taste in different genres.
I honestly couldn't believe what I saw in reviews, how some of them giving away 5-star ratings and says great things about this game. I assume they're either have not played any actual good games or at least decent. I don't even know why some of big gacha game content creators here are standing in unison, saying that this game is actually good. I can't tell if they're actually believed that or saying things just to stir up the hype.
TapTap
Jokes aside, I don't mean to judge anyone's taste in games with assumptions. It's just that I don't understand which part of this game that others find it enjoyable. I love anime art style and aesthetics in games, but most of these new gacha games releases felt like nothing more than a cash grab. I can say with confidence that anyone who's played this game or planning to, would agree with both issues I've mentioned; terrible stamina system and even horrible story writing. But other than that, good or bad, they're all subjectively depends on each player's preferences. But this one is just not for me.

I don't care if it's copied or not, it's still a great turn-based game,

I'm playing the game (for now) and it's not that bad, but just because I'm waiting better games like star rail, wuthering waves, zzz and others xD At the moment in this game they're speeding up way too much on banners, it's literally impossible get everything without shopping. Also I'm reaching the free to play limit, and yep, energy system is really bad and sad. But also the power level system is a lot bad. With star rail I'll surely drop this game.

that's true. they picked the wrong time to release the game right after hoyoverse announced star rail global release and wuthering waves's final beta. with its current state, i won't be surprised if people would just leave this game when they got their hands on these other titles

the facial expressions were hilarious....also the no reroll system is pretty bad like you preventing many gacha fans from that system alone (tho I myself never reroll)

This game seems like a wasted opportunity. The graphics are great and the characters are really good and well animated but the gameplay is very disappointing. This could have made an interesting MMORPG but instead it's just a run of the mill turn based gacha with very basic combat which you will immediately auto. The only difference is that instead of going stage by stage via a map, you run around a small 3D environment speaking to NPCs for story and stages.

tbh very good game, fantastic art and music, character and story is good, too. very f2p, unlike many other games. it's also very chill, no need to grind out content. haven't burnt out yet, which is crazy (most gacha games kill you after a while) !

This game presents a clear picture of how vile and greedy American companies making online games can be. We've been lied to and misinformed about the game being generous to users with tons of good free and event stuffs, but the music stops as soon as you enter the game and see it for yourself . . . . Asides from the skill animations & graphical aspects, nothing much about the game is praiseworthy nor does it have anything new to offer in the Turn Based RPG market. The devs would go as far as to remove and toss down the negative reviews while keeping the positive ones (by clone accounts) above, fooling people into falling for their trap. Despite the stamina giveaway, you're still eventually going to struggle for it as well as the materials needed to level up and promote your heroes in short time. Story and dungeon mode difficulty rises rapidly as you proceed on and there is no option to skip the hero ultimate skill animation prolonging the battle phases. And as for gacha itself... That's beyond horrible. The drop rate is only 1% and that speaks true for itself. Even Netease's Onmyoji (company I hate) has better drop rates (1.2%) than this dumpster fire of a RPG. Not to mention the gacha resources are also very tough to acquire. The game let's new users make only 5 retries of gacha on the so-called "choose you legendary hero" banner among 7 legendary heroes (NERFED) when it doesn't even guarantee legendary grade on every pull. It's as if the devs deliberately don't want you to have any decent legendary grade hero for a satisfied start of the game. On the other hand, a new Chinese RPG named "The Project : Akasha" at it's initial stage is already being very generous enough to all users, with gacha drop rate being 4.6% .. Everytime I enter that game, I'm being bombarded with tons of freebies. Not just that, even Soul Land and Figure Story has drop rates of 10% and 4% respectively. Heir of Light, Super String and Hero Cantare are also very promising to users of all class. These are the types of companies that actually value their customers' mental satisfaction and want them to continue using their gaming products with a smile. These are the types of companies your money is worth investing on. Mark my words, by the end of this year or the beginning of next year, this game will literally lose more than half of it's users unable to meet their common needs, thus becoming a ghost town RPG where only your message on global chat window will echo around. In short, if you're someone who don't mind stingy RPG and aimed for competition & annihilation (of younger free players in PvP) , then congrats, this might be the perfect game for you ~~
