Pocket City 2 is a premium purchase city builder game, similar to games like Sim City or Cities for example. But it does have some unique features for this mobile game to stand on its own.

Gameplay wise Pocket City 2 has you step into the shoes of the mayor of your new city. You must grow it, and accept various quests that appear from the different buildings you make. Starting from the town hall, and eventually from many various places.

What I liked about this game compared to others in the same genre is that for one there is quests to help you earn more money and experience. And the other thing I like about this is that you can interact with the merchant buildings or if you want to take it one step further, you can explore your city yourself.

Walking around at street level and enter the shops yourself. It's very interesting. At the start I was draining money like crazy, but eventually things started to stabilize thankfully and my city is currently flourishing. I'm currently on Day 31 in the game, and just found out that there is seasons too. With summer just arriving.

You can also upgrade certain buildings like the fire station and police station. There's plenty to do in this city builder and I was losing track of time while playing this. I think this is a very good city builder for the phone, and I'm glad that there is one because I really enjoy these types of games.

The visuals are gorgeous 3D and bright and colorful. You can even create the look of your own mayor for when you interact with your city. Overall I'd say that Pocket City 2 is a super fun game that will make you wonder where time went while playing it. If you enjoy City Builders then you should love this one. I highly recommend it, and it's definitely worth the purchase.

A portable citybuilder that will keep you busy for hours
Pocket City 2 is a solid citybuilder packed with interesting features. The basic gameplay loop is pretty standard—place roads, construct buildings, earn money for more buildings—but there are unique mechanics that take things in an exciting new direction. Whenever I needed a break from building, I could jump into my city, walk around, and explore. Not only was this a great way to see my city up close, but I actually made some pretty cool discoveries, like a hammer I could use to repair roads for free. There's even a photo mode, so I could snap pictures of all my favorite spots.

A Great City(e)scape
To not miss any future mobile reviews subscribe to my YouTube Channel Score 8/10 Full Review: Personal Playtime: ~7 hours Pocket City 2 is a wonderful game for the city building genre. This is because its simplistic design and UI allows it to be accessible for newbies to the scene. There is a delicate balance of supply and demand for enough different gameplay elements for the vast majority of the gameplay you always feel like you are doing something or approaching something big. This is not even mentioning the additional aspects of the game like weather events and city competitions. Some components, I felt, were a bit of a let down and felt like it was limited by gameplay experience. These were the minigames which sometimes had quest tied to them which caused me to discard them because I did not find them enjoyable. If you can overlook some of the extras that the game throws at you there is actually a wonderful foundation for your to build the city of your dreams.
