You can now choose to link your Google or Apple account to the game to save your progress on the cloud. This way you don't have to worry about losing your progress in case you need to uninstall the app, change devices, or if you simply lost your phone and now a detective is using it.
New users will see a New/Load Game screen when they open the app for the first time.
Existing users will see a popup dialog when they open the app after updating which will allow them to link their account.
You can also find the linking option in the Settings app on both the phones. In case you don't want to link your account and want to keep your data offline, then you don't have to do anything with this update.
