Oxenfree 2: The Lost Signals Finally Coming to Android for Netflix Subscribers

The indie game Oxenfree was released on Android devices five years ago. Netflix acquired the game's developer, Night School Studio, and released its own version on iOS and Android for subscribers without ads and in-game purchases.
The game's sequel, Oxenfree 2: The Lost Signals, will arrive on Android on July 12, 2023, after many delays. The game will be available for Netflix subscribers at no additional cost. While the sequel won't follow the story of the first game, there is a loose connection between the two.
The game's story will focus on a new character investigating disturbances in technology. Playing the original game is not required but recommended as an update was issued to tie it to the upcoming game.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is a direct sequel to the original Oxenfree, but it’s surprisingly friendly to newcomers. Set five years after the first game, Lost Signals follows two brand-new characters: small town handyman Jacob and stoic screw-up Riley. There are moments that will hit harder if you’ve played the original, but it’s not overly reliant on old material, and it should make for a satisfying experience even if you treat it as a standalone game.
