TreesPlease Games, founded in 2019, has been officially unveiled with $8m of seed funding and their first title, Longleaf Valley, which aims to facilitate reforestation and the planting of trees.
Led by ex-NaturalMotion general manager Laura Carter, the studio's mission is to create games that make a difference. Longleaf Valley has already led to the planting of three-hundred thousand trees.
The game is part of a growing trend of mobile game companies contributing directly to charity from their profits.
