Rise of Cyber is a Gacha game set in a Cyberpunk settings with fantastic graphics. It have some unique game ideas that makes it stands out from the rest, but it holds some usual gacha drawbacks too. Lets take a look?
PROS
1. Fantastic graphics and animation
Rise of Cyber's graphics is top notch. Character design, animations, backgrounds, effects - everything looks really good and well made. You can adjust the settings for graphics if your phone cant handle it, which is a good thing as well
2. Character rework mechanics
In Rise of Cyber you can start with basic characters and rework them, which will evolve them to the higher rarity tier character all the way to highest SS tier. This allows even f2p players to have a chance of getting enough top tier heroes for character growth.
3. Combat heroes chain skills
Combat in Rise of Cyber is turn based and you can issue several orders in a queue. Those queued orders might create great combos by amplifying important heroes and using their abilities to the maximum
CONS
1. Slow Animations
Rise of Cyber have an option to turn off skill animation and make fights 2x faster, but even then they take considerable amount of time. Its pretty hard to use up all your daily stamina or farm resources, since you will have to fight several fights and it takes a while to go though even the simple fights.
2. Low summon chance
Rise of Cyber have some good mechanics that allow you to upgrade your characters to the next rarity tier, pity summons and guaranteed SS summon for new players after they do 100 summons, but still chance to get SS hero is pretty low.
3. Lack of game modes and characters
Rise of Cyber is still in the beta stage and more game modes and heroes will be available later, but in a current state it have only 46 heroes and just a couple of game modes available. This isnt that much for a gacha game, but will be enough to sate most players, while more content will be created and/or unlocked.
Conclusion. Is Rise of Cyber Good?
Yes
Rise of Cyber is a pretty solid Gacha game. It differs from the most with fantastic 3d graphics, interesting game ideas and solid quality. Unluckily it still brings unskippable animations and slow fights that are common to gacha genre, but those things might change with the future updates.
