I have been playing this game for over 3 years now! Over 1k login days, so i will summarize my experience with this game so far.

The game used to be almost perfect for an idle game, addictive, good rewarding for F2P players and amazing strategic gameplay decomposed of countering lineups or outsmarting your opponent with new formation but as of now, YES it's used to be like that, before they introduce us a specific hero, which is Shar. Almost all players uses shar in their formation for almost as long as she was released, that hero is unbelievably Overpowered with specific matchups and widely used in PvP cause it can beat almost any lineup, which somewhat kills the fun part of being a strategic game, they introduced so many heroes for either PvP purposes or PvE purposes but still shar never went down or even nerfed at all.

Not having a dynamic chess board kills the fun for me but that's a small part of the issue, because the game actively introducing new power ups for heroes, it's exciting I'm not against the fast development but the pace of it, they did introduce alot but they did not introduce efficient ways to catch up without paying, besides the new tinted mirages that we get almost monthly, it's totally hopeless for F2P to catch up and many of P2W player even quit, besides the legendary skins that asks for literally too much money to obtain.

I have no objections for the skin cause they don't form any part of a gap or being an issue but there's dead servers like 900xx and not cared of getting it lively again, there's other servers? Dunno myself didn't try to start over but on my behave i have seen servers that are so lively compared to 900xx.

Otherwise the game is still great and fun, but it's easier to get that fun killed for you now. I would recommend giving it a try, i have only spoken of the bad part of it but there's alot of fun in it, i just hope to see improvements at least.

Have been playing this game since the release use to love it but now it seems simply useless, the matchmaking is just too bad, some of the heroes have been buffed unnecessarily and useless revamps take place almost after every six months (changing the appearance and the skills of the character that took days for you to master), half of the time in rank(server asia B) I have met with people who don't even have 800 matches, trolls, afk, intentional rank down and worst of all is that for their poor performance, I have lose stars as well as my MMR. Wouldn't recommend

The game started out great. Till the last update. They added a new feature! Yay! ...not. the feature was a VIP system. Even worse, a character locked entirely behind the VIP system. You can only get dupes by increasing it. And you guessed it, the hero is OP. On top of that, they nerfed so many things, and not just for the sake of hero balancing. The community is upset, and devs have yet to address it or care.

It's miserable to play this game especially ranked. I last played 4 months ago and I wasn't a ranked player I'm more of a casual player, I got back 3 day ago and I can tell that in the 4 months that I've been gone NOTHING and I mean NOTHING has changed, not even a bit. the bow and arrow lady is still op the cow girl is still extremely annoying and is hell to play camist or any suport character. Oh and diggy is still trash. The game devs doesn't know how to blanch the game in any way, more than half the character are stolen from overwatch. I'll say it thousands of times because I really do want this game to be a good and playable game but in the direction that the game is going I can't see that.
