Goose Goose Duck - A Quick Game Review

Goose Goose Duck is a multiplayer PVP online co-op mobile game with lots of similarities with among us but quite different as well at the same time. All of the characters playable are ducks in this game but their appearance can be dramatically modified with the costume customization. I was actually quite impressed to see a lot of funky ducks gathered in the waiting room. Honestly, I enjoyed this game a lot because of its clear missions list. Most of the missions are like puzzle type mini games. The mini games are quite amusing and fun to play.

First of all, this game has lots of gaming modes to offer, which I really appreciated a lot! You can host the game or you can just join the game lobby created by another player. Or you can just play with your friends in a private lobby. This game just gets very dynamic with various game modes which serves different taste of the same game.

After joining the game, you will be in the waiting area where you can see other online players willing to play together. A game can have a upto a total of 16 players trying to co-op or sabotage each other. In the waiting room, you can see lots of player ducks with varieties of looks. It just feels quite wacky to see funky looking ducks in various styles. I actually laughed off at some ridiculous duck looks.

As soon as the game starts, you have different commands that you can execute with your character. On the left hand of the screen, you will be displayed your list of missions that you need to do asap. If you become late and incompetent in fulfilling the missions, then you could be kicked out of the game by other players. The missions are actually quite easy to complete and usually missions do come as puzzle mini game. This way the gameplay is quite interesting and fun. However, the controls felt a little bit odd for me and not really that user friendly. A simple D-Pad style movement control would have been much better.

You can access the whole map by just clicking on the mini map. With the map, you can locate your position asap and you can get to your mission location asap with good map reading. With lots of tasks on hand, its quite fun to clear most of the missions before other players could!

Plus, this game just keep popping out new updates that just keeps improving the gameplay more and more. Recently in April 26, came an update version 2.21 with lots of new roles and a brand new stage "Bloodhaven" with lots of cool effects. With updates like these, there is no end to the fun this game can provide!

Overall, this game is quite fun with pretty good graphics and whacky looking funky goose ducks with different customizable looks. I highly recommend you guys to try this game out. Graphics is not that bad and the sound effects are quite great supporting its horror/thriller vibe.
