War Thunder Mobile Enters Open Beta Testing

Gaijin Entertainment has started the open beta testing of War Thunder Mobile, a new online military action game. Currently, it is only available for Android devices and can be downloaded in APK format from the official website. In the coming months, the game will be released on Google Play and iOS devices as well.
The game was initially announced as War Thunder Edge in November 2022 and has undergone several alpha testing stages. It has now been renamed War Thunder Mobile and there are no plans to reset the player progress made during the open beta.
The new game features large-scale cooperative battles of legendary ground, naval, and air vehicles from different eras, including World War II era Il-2 ground-attack aircraft and Cold War era Leopard tanks. The game uses physically correct flight and damage models, and every tank and plane has historically accurate tech specifications and appearance. To effectively destroy enemy vehicles, players need to study the internal architecture, key components, and armor layout. However, the game controls are intuitive and easy to learn.
War Thunder Mobile has more than 200 units at the start of the open beta, including battleship Yamato, which has not been featured in the original War Thunder. The game also includes submarines in naval battles and may introduce other unique content and mechanics in the future. The progression system allows players to try out equipment from different countries, including the legendary German Tiger II tanks and modern American fighting vehicles M3 Bradley.
