Against War is a card strategy mobile game with lots of amazing unique units that you can recruit. Honestly, I was quite baffled by its gaming mechanics at first but I was quite glad to see a detailed tutorial in this game which gave me a good idea about everything in the game. Once I figured out this game, I found this game to be very fun where I was able to come up with lots of strategies to defeat enemies in a very tactical way. Sadly this game does not have much waifus, but there surely are lots of amazing unique units that can be strategically used in battle to get swift victory against your enemy.
In the gameplay, you will be dealt with upto 6 cards and you can change upto 3 cards from your starting deck. Once the battle starts, the cards can be dragged in the battlefield so that you can start recruiting troops. Once you recruit a troop into the battlefield, they will start a cooldown on your deck before you can use any another card in your deck. Plus, the troops require some time before they can start to actively fight in the battlefield. Thus it provides a good strategy element for the player to be able to use proper cards at proper time at proper lane. There are a total of 3 lanes that can be used to invade your enemy fortress gate. Once you decrease the morale of your enemy to 0 or if you manage to kill the enemy commander then you can claim the victory in the game. These are the strategy elements that make this game so much fun! Instead of using mana or skill points to hire units, this game has adopted the cooldown system to spice up the game a bit more and various units have various cooldown time. So you can be fast at recruitment or wait for your quality units to enter the battle.
Looking into our base, we can see command center where we can setup upto 5 different deck of cards. In recruit building, you can recruit units with the resources that you have available. If you get the dupes, then you can use the dupes to level up the pre-existing units. From the workshop, you can provide various improvements to your base or your units. and finally in spell lab, you can get new spells to be used in battles to get awesome battle output. I found the gaming system to be quite simple yet so complete as well.
As a beginner, I highly advise you to try out the battles with A.I. before you got battling with other online players coz you will need to improve your troops first! In order to improve your troops, you need to summon and get dupes to upgrade your pre-existing troops. And what I loved the most is the detailed tutorial in this game which gave a great step-by-step guide to every element and features in this game.
The most hyped content of this game is obviously the PVP matches that you can play with other online player. When I played my first PVP match, I was obliterated into smithereens in no time because of my opponent being too powerful with nicely upgraded army. PVP can be a very competitive place where your opponent can use lots of surprising tactical moves to end the game asap! There are lots of amazing ways on how you can approach your opponent in this game and it can be quite fun to act on your strategies.
Overall, this game is definitely a lot of fun and I do highly recommend this game to you guys. This game surely can be quite overload to new beginners as there are lots of gaming features involved in this game but once you know how to play this game, its quite simple and enjoyable. The graphics is quite good enough for this game and the battle war cries and music gives this game a good battle vibe. Sadly, there are not much waifus in this game. Anyways, try this game out!
