Mark your calendars for May 11, 2023 – that's when Tower of Fantasy's Sound of the Sea update (version 2.5) will be released, bringing new map expansions, challenges, and characters to the open-world MMORPG.
New Map Expansions in Version 2.5
The latest update will introduce The Dark Source's Deepsea Caverns for Wanderers to explore. These caverns represent the most treacherous and mysterious depths of the ocean. To withstand the immense water pressure, players must complete essential tasks and upgrade their resources as they delve deeper into the enigmatic waters. Additionally, two new puzzle-solving challenges – Locked Patrol Guard and Inactive Surveillance Guard – will be available.
Increasing Difficulty with Dimension
In Sound of the Sea, difficulty scales with Dimension rather than Wanderer level. This change results in more powerful enemies and extra rewards for solving puzzles and uncovering treasure chests. Abyssant: Nakya, a massive new World Boss resembling a crimson spider-like skeleton, will also be introduced.
Gnonno's Debut in Version 2.5
The update brings a new physical replica called Gnonno into the game world. Aspiring to be an explorer like her grandfather Nuok, Gnonno's wild personality sometimes causes trouble. In her past adventures with her best friend through dangerous seas, only Gnonno returned alive but gained control over a peculiar octopus-like creature's tentacles.

3. Press and hold left-ALT to move your cursor.
4. Click the gift box in the top-right corner.
5. Scroll down to "rewards" and click it.
6. Click the "exchange" button.
7. Enter or paste the code into the "redeem via code" box.
8. Confirm, and items will be sent to your in-game mailbox.
9. Press ESC to open the pause menu, click "friends," then click the mailbox tab.
