The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is now globally available on Android and iOS

The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth has been released on Android. The game, developed by Glu Mobile, is a free-to-play RPG where players can assemble a team of heroes and battle against enemies from the famous fantasy world. The game features characters from the books and movies, such as Gandalf, Legolas, and Frodo, and also allows players to create their own heroes. The battles are turn-based and involve strategic planning to defeat opponents. In addition, there are also cooperative multiplayer modes where players can team up to take on bigger challenges.

On May 10, 2023, The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will formally launch on the Apple App and Google Play stores, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes and antagonists from J.R.R. Tolkien's works to learn the power of a brand-new Ring. At its core, The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-Earth is a tactical role-playing game, and players will have the option of choosing to play as good or evil. Players will be able to "adventure across the land to experience familiar & alternate tellings of Tolkien characters" in the mobile game, which will include both PvP and PvE combat.

Electronic Arts (EA) announced that it is working on The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, a free-to-play collectible mobile RPG inspired by the novel of J.R.R. Tolkien. Developed by EA Capital Games (Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes), The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will feature turn-based combat, a deep collection system, immersive storytelling, and "high-fidelity graphics, cinematic animations, and stylized art", according to Malachi Boyle, Vice President of Mobile RPG for Electronic Arts.
