It was fun all the way through. When you use the rage effect you feel god-like and the play style is a blast.
That said it gets repetitive and the final level and its subsets feel more like a hassle than an experience. For a game that has obvious offline/online multi-player possibilities and could have better looking attack effects like we were playing a demon slayer game or something, its spell weakens, splutters and dies by the end. I found myself saying, "F*ck it, I'll finish it for bragging rights."
Trust when I say that without all the repetitiveness, completing this frenzy of a game would have justified it all. It is a difficult game especially when done as F2P not because of itself but because of both the mental and physical demands on you. The very last fight is like the god of war one slog on that boat in the first release. It feels punishingly difficult all of a sudden because it refuses to end until it does
I'd still recommend this for every player. After playing this, your staying power for Elden ring and Darksouls should increase atleast by a bit
