Underwhelming Early Game, Gets WAY better!
125 View2023-06-06I've been playing PGR F2P for about a year by now, and I'll have to say this. The game is very F2P and low spender friendly, as you can get every S rank character if you saved properly. The early game (chapters 1-8) all have some pretty underwhelming story, but I was glad that I powered through and kept going, because chapters 9-12 had really good writing, and every chapter after that was amazing! Combat is fluid, music is absolutely boppin', the story is rich and immersive. Do be aware of the fact that when the writing gets better, the game really tries to make you read a ton of stuff. In my books, that's a huge plus, but I can see many people who wouldn't like that. As of the time I'm writing this, it's a great time for new players to start. We have a free S rank selector that you can get by grinding, and the newer constructs getting released have great visuals, and will powercreep the older ones, so if you're still on the fence of starting the game, doing so now would be optimal!
tl:dr
Really good game once you get past the initial boring story, and starting now (nanami starfarer patch) will give you several advantages later on! Play the game!

As a long time PGR player (started at Frozen Darkness) i completely agree that the early game is pretty rough, but the saying, "Good comes to those to wait" holds especially true in PGR's case.
