Space Twin Stick Shooter/Rogue-lite: Strike Buster Prototype Review

We are back on again with a game that was in beta for a while but is now coming out this week for a full release on August 9th! So before, I wasn't super impressed with the game, but it did have addictive gameplay! Looking at this game again, there have been some improvements, even though the gameplay is somewhat similar. There have been some updates to the game and some customization! Today we are looking at Strike Buster Prototype.

Playing Strike Buster Prototype, it definitely reminded me of the retro arcade space shoot ‘em ups I’ve played in my childhood during my PS1 days, such as Ray Crisis and Einhander. However, it blends retro aesthetics with modern gameplay elements such as a physics system and twin stick controls. The game is already available on PC and Switch, but I was able to try out the Android demo version of the game, bringing the arcade shooter into the mobile platform.

Summary: Accumulate combos to wipe out your enemy！ Accumulate combos, switch weapons, collect relics, destroy tides of enemies and powerful bosses, survive, and get the highest score! That is "STRIKE BUSTER: Prototype," a new kind of shooting game with unique gameplay with retro and modern styles. Verdict: Strike Buster is an enjoyable game, even though it doesn't have much of a story; it probably might be easier with a controller but overall addicting gameplay!
