What you need to know Minecraft 1.20 "Trails & Tales" is the latest major content update releasing for Minecraft on all platforms. On May 26, Mojang Studios finally revealed the update's release date of June 7, 2023. The update brings new mobs, blocks, mechanics, customization features, crafting recipes, and much more. Alongside the update, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is also officially releasing on Google Chromebooks. Update, June 7, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. CT — True to its word, Mojang Studios is now in the process of releasing the colossal 1.20 "Trails & Tales" update to Minecraft on every platform and for every player. The update measures around 960MB in size, or just under 1GB. It may take a while for the update to appear for all players.
