Just Played Party Animals - Insane Fun Awaits!
7K View2023-06-16I'm so grateful to the developers for the opportunity to play the demo. Just had 2 hours of non-stop laughter playing Party Animals, an upcoming party game that'll have you hooked. It features adorable bipedal animals going head-to-head in various competitive modes.
Though still a work in progress, it's shaping up to be a must-play for party game enthusiasts. The developers at Recreate improved the character control, making actions like throwing and climbing more intuitive.
The game introduces a range of weapons, both melee and ranged, adding more depth and strategy to the chaotic gameplay. Party Animals offers two main modes: Last Stand and Team Score, with a nice variety of maps and games. In Last Stand, environmental factors make each map unique and require you to adapt your playstyle. Team Score features objective-based games like Buzz Ball and Fluffy Redemption. Buzz Ball is a mix of football and soccer, where players electrocute if they hold the ball too long. Fluffy Redemption is a cooperative race to the finish on two trains, where you balance between fueling your train and slowing down the opposing team.
The game's character customization is a delight, with 14 animals to choose from and tons of fun outfits. The developers promise a player-friendly progression system, with the freedom of choosing desired costumes using in-game currency. The winning ceremony offers a chance to snap a hilarious group photo, perfect for sharing with friends.
Party Animals is coming to us on Sep 20, 2023. This is really a creative, fun, and engaging party game. With ongoing updates and additions, it has huge potential to become a staple in the genre. I'm definitely looking forward to playing more!
