"Dwarves are natural sprinters! Very dangerous over short distances." - Gimli, 'LOTR' (2002).
GOOD HEAVENS!
Out of all the entries, I've reviewed DWERVE is by far the MOST COMPLETE package due to 3 UNDERLYING REASONS:
1.) WORLD 10/10
Its tiny and intricate pixel game world is populated by beautifully crafted characters accompanied by well suited themes and features that work harmoniously together.
Remembering the whole experience, I can tell you that just a few minutes in, and you will feel that the world of DWERVE is somewhat alive and every nook and cranny has some sort of story to tell.
Don't expect it to be an Open World as it is divided by levels and you can progress through its story in the form of a world map.
2.) FUN-ADDICTING-SIMPLISTIC COMBAT 9/10
Not only the WORLD and the overall THEME is perfect but the combat leaves nothing to be desired as well.
Equipped with an arsenal of Turrets and Traps powered by Kryptonite Gems, our humble hero sets out on his dangerous adventure to defeat mysterious evil forces.
Dashing and weaving through enemies in the battlefield while your turrets unleash carnage and rain down hellfire is quite a refreshing change, It goes to show that although there is simplicity in this form of combat it is still quite addicting.
3.) OVERALL PERFORMANCE 10/10
The performance of DWERVE is so good on my device (There were no lags, stuttering, framing issues, battery drain, or overheating).
It shows how well it was optimized.
I AM VERY MUCH HOPEFUL FOR DWERVE AND ITS WORLD TO GROW BIGGER AND BETTER, MAYBE EVEN AN OPENWORLD PIXEL TD IN THE FUTURE!
MORE POWER TO THE DEVS, I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO THINK HOW MUCH TIME & EFFORT WAS PUT INTO THIS MASTERPIECE.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GAME HAD ME SMILING WHILE I WAS PLAYING IT.
SHEEEEEESH!
Thank you sooo much for the detailed and flattering review! We really appreciate your kind words and sharing your experience with us and others here on TapTap <3
