DEVBLOG 030 - About Solo Mode and Bugs

Hi guys this is Pharmercy. Mammon is kinda busy dealing with the tech issues. So this week I'm drafting this Devblog, to tell you about Solo Mode and the recent frequently reported bugs. Don't worry we are developing the new content and the session list as we've planned. In this month we are still focusing on fixing bugs, network issues and compatibility issues.
• Solo Mode
We feel terribly sorry that we can't ship the Solo Mode right now. The main reason is that this mode is not what you are asking for. When we developed the current Solo Mode we didn't totally ban the team function. So the current Solo Mode still allows teams. And players could join Solo Mode by solo matchmaking.
Many had suggested that we should develop the "REAL SOLO MODE", which is what we are doing right now. In the new Solo Mode, team function is banned, meaning that no team action is allowed.We will directly ship the new Solo Mode in July. We would like to call it Lone Wolf Mode.
• Reconnecting Issue
The problem of reconnecting issue has been going on for a long time online. We have tried to fix this problem once. Because the client's network diagnosis was too frequent at that time, the server mistakenly thought that there was a problem with the player's network, so it prompted reconnection. After fixing this problem, the frequency of disconnection and reconnection problems has decreased, but a large number of players still report that they are having the same issue.
Since this problem has a wide range of influences and greatly affects players' experience, we have been troubleshooting this issue as a high priority. After inquiring about the stability of the server, the player's network situation, and the game experience under different network environments, we initially judged that it is a server problem. The occurrence of reconnection is not regular, and we are still troubleshooting. There is not much progress at present. We are truly sorry that you guys don't have a great experience.
• Building in Textures
Building in textures is a problem that has not been resolved since the test was launched in December last year. Every time the map is updated, there will be a large amount of feedback. Before May of this year, as long as there is a problem with building in textures, we need to know the specific coordinates and fix them on the map. However, every time the map is updated, new coordinates will appear, and the problem still exists.
Based on the above situation, starting from May, after everyone provides the coordinates, we will use the coordinates and the recurrence method to make logical restrictions to prevent players from using the same method to build in different positions. For example, in last week's maintenance update, we added the restrictions that players are not relocating facilities would move them inside rocks. Currently there are 2 types of restrictions in the game that restrict building inside the rock, and we will continue to add restrictions in the future.  If there is a new map coming out, the number of building-in-textures problems will be less with the restrictions.
• Frequently Reported Cheaters and Other Bugs
As for the cheater issue, recently we identified 4 hack dealers, all from China. Those hacks led to many new cheaters. Generally, we ban 800~1600 accounts per week, and more than 95% of them are hackers from China using those 4 hacks. On the one hand, we will keep updating our anti-cheat policy to identify the cheaters faster and more accurately. On the other hand, we will increase the cost of creating a new account. We will not allow unlimited new guest accounts registered with 1 device. And some functions and modes will be unavailable for new players. Of course, we will keep dealing with the hack dealers. Then for other bugs, we have around 30 P0 and P1 bugs in our pipeline. We are terribly sorry for the negative experiences caused by those bugs. We are still working on them and by July there will be a major update mainly for the bugs.
Bug Fixes
1. Fixed some floating and overlapping resources
2. Fixed an issue that relocating facilities would move them inside rocks
3. Fixed Ember leaderboard display errors
4. Optimized the redemption limits in the Operation: Ready to Go shop
5. Fixed an occasional issue that friends could not receive invites
6. Fixed an occasional issue that the information on friends was not upgraded promptly in the Friends interface
7. Fixed an issue that when players returned to the Lobby or left the combat area after Kane entered battle, he would occasionally freeze in place
8. Fixed an issue that the gyroscope could not be disabled during construction
9. Fixed some zombies' abnormal behavior after they were hit by ranged attacks
10. Corrected the damage of the Grenade Turret in Port Tackson

I downloaded this abomination and couldn't play it because of how broken it is, release the fucking game in stat that can be play only then I might bother myself with it,, been waiting for a whole year and I'm way to pissed to bother again with these unfinish garbage games
