The I see you demo definitely gets the atmosphere and tension right in this horror game.  The main character being blind really forces the player to remember the layout of rooms that they explore especially during fights.  Combat, puzzles and exploration work fine just that it feels slightly unpolished.  Aiming is a little twitchy, number puzzles use your actual phone keyboard and walking is slow, its not a problem its just noticeable.  There are some translation errors and some text just not translated at all.  Despite the small problems the game is good and left me wanting to know what happens next.

Unique ≠ Good. I see you review
I see you, Platform: Mobile Price: TBA. «Note this is a review for the demo version of the game.» So this is the first game in a while that I can find nothing on outside of a TapTap release in China, I will not bring that up as I am mostly too lazy to, but yeah, I see you is a mobile first. So let us start the review in the same way that I have been reviewing games for a while now with an analysis of the description. I see you is an RE inspired narrative thriller where you play as a blind man, as such you will have to contend with a very narrow field of vision. It does not really promise any sort of gameplay aside from a memorable experience.

I See You - At First Glance
I See You is another Survival-Horror/Thriller game inspired by Resident Evil. The only caveat is that... you're going in blind. You play as Sean, a guy that was blinded by an accident of some kind. He has a girlfriend, Liz, who helps take care of him amidst his disability. Sean's blindness is a part of the core gameplay. You can never see beyond a certain radius so it actually forces you to move around to really explore your surroundings.

I wasn't specting much because I'm not really a fan of minimalistic graphics. But I was happy to find out its actually a deliberate choice. You play as a blind man and the minimal graphics help with the sense of fear. You can only "see" in a small radius around you unless you touch an object you are familiar with like a table that you "see" fully and it makes sense. Also since you have a girlfriend she knows you are blind and she leaves audios for you or letters in brayle (there's also brayle typewriters to save your progress) if you have ever played Beyond eyes it's similar to that but instead of staying painted here you have to remember it's a more visceral experience. You have virtual buttons to play and everything is great but the shoot stick it's like in the place where the interact button should be so I ended up wasting some bullets. You can hold and aim when you release you shoot. They did a good job with audio cues to let you know your next objective. It's definitely scary and challenging enough.
