Underground Blossom Lite.... From what I can tell, this is a demo for a full release of a game coming to mobile. This is a Rusty Lake game, but I have never played any of their other games before, so this is the first time I'm venturing into this developers game series.
And as a first time experience, I can say I wasn't enjoying it. The gameplay has you get on a train and then at your first stop you have to out and meet a lady and her baby. There are no hints or prompts on what to do, you just have to figure it out on your own. Now, I'm not a fan of these games whatsoever. So my opinion on the game is already starting to sour because I've never been a fan of any puzzle type game.
You have to figure out what you're meant to do with the baby that the lady asked you to take care of. You have to search your surroundings and click and drag on everything you think you can click or drag on until you find the pieces and clues hidden in the area to help you progress. Now the game isn't exactly hard, but it's just not for me. The visuals though are fantastic. I love the art style and the character designs.
The game feels eerie and a tad bit creepy and I love that. I think the overall visuals of this game are fantastic and on visuals alone I love it. The audio also helps with adding to the creepy vibes of the game. It's a mix of creepy, mysterious and eerie and the audio effects really help bring that message across.
The audio is fantastic and well done for that. Overall I'd say that Underground Blossom Lite is an interesting game that I'm sure for you mystery solving lovers out there will enjoy it for sure. The game isn't bad at all and I think it looks awesome. I am just not the target audience for this game. But if you love puzzles, mystery and figuring things out without handholding, then this game is definitely for you.
