Okay? is fittingly, okay! Okay? is a simplistic puzzle game where your objective is to clear all white blocks off the screen with one shot of a ball. The game has not many mechanics, but it overall uses them in a way that doesn’t feel limiting.

Level design here is: well, okay. You’ve got some creative levels that force you to think ahead, and some annoying levels that force you into trial and error.
Actually, that’s one of my biggest gripes with Okay? and other puzzle games. Trial and Error. To me, the point of a puzzle game is to force you to think ahead and to come to logical conclusions and dead ends, so you can try again from a new perspective. However, some puzzle games fall down the habit of forcing trial and error onto people, this game included. This makes for annoying times where you’re just SLIGHTLY adjusting the position and rotation hoping for it to work out in the end.

There are 150 levels, each separated into what I consider 3 sections:
1-50: These are your normal levels, with the white background.
51-100: These are your recursive levels, with the red background. Recursive levels are levels where the ball wraps around the edges of the screen.
101-150: These are your boss levels, and they mostly suck to play through (mainly because of the trial and error aspect). They are normal and recursive.

The hint system is okay, but I wish it was made a teeny better. Even just showing a range of the angle the ball could be shot at would help.

The mechanics are great. They’re simple and intuitive. These are:
White blocks: The blocks you need to clear
Black blocks: The blocks that serve as obstacles
Strings: The blocks you need to clear, you can pass through these:
Moving: These blocks move, need to be cleared
Ghost: must pass through these blocks once before being clear
Wormhole: your ball cannot pass through this block or it gets sucked in.

Finally, I have to mention the User Levels. There’s a level editor in the game, which is a bit  limited. User levels are 150 levels made by users that the creator picked out to be used in the game. Because they are user created, they’re a lot more likely to be either highly puzzle oriented or trial and error oriented. So yeah, proceed with caution.

Overall, Okay? is an okay game. Nothing to special, and there is better, but it’s free, so if you have the chance, why not? And if you like it, maybe there’s another puzzle game made by the same developer you’d consider paying for… but that one will have to BLOOM later.

Repetition can be a good thing, and that bears repeating - That Level Again Review
In an era where mobile releases are becoming as massive as their console counterparts, it’s always nice to see a title that can cut through the fluff and get to the bare bones of what makes it fun and exciting. That Level Again does precisely that. Created by indie developer IamTagir, That Level Again is a puzzler where each level is the same, but the method to win changes. With that in mind, this game is blissfully free of instructions, long tutorials, difficult controls, or multiple game modes. What you have instead is a simple concept, one that succeeds in being as addictive as it is fun.

So Many Options! - That Level Again [First Impressions] Gameplay
That Level Again is a puzzle game where you will have to go through the same level over and over and over again. Each time there will be a small trick that you need to do in order to open the door in the end. Can you guess them all? More in this First Impressions/ Review video from 2022.This video is more of a quick review on the new game. Gameplay looks pretty promising, specifically with all the copycats in its Genre. A lot of unique mechanics and interesting ideas!

I'm impressed with this game. This is more of an art design than just a game. The creator of the game is talented since they designed those very exquisite puzzles around the door. You need to solve these puzzles to unlock the door before you can complete the level. For me, the achievement of this art lies in the design of different styles of scenes, such as lighthouse on the sea, pirate and treasure, thrilling cemetery, fortress in the sky, cyberpunk bar. The design of the puzzles and the presentation of animations almost perfectly fit the theme of each level. The puzzles in each theme are totally unique as well, which surprises me a lot.
