Here in a fascinating review, looking at a game called " Dark Souls with Guns!"
After seeing the trailers and new gameplay mechanics, also a continuation of Remnant from the Ashes, we now have something that expands the world even more, with more customizations and new features to experience!
Today we have an exciting look at Remnant II!
Also, this PC version is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S!
Summary:
Survivors of humanity against new deadly creatures and god-like bosses across terrifying worlds. Play solo or co-op with two other friends to explore the depths of the unknown to stop evil from destroying reality itself.
My Experience
So there have been some updates and downs with Remnant II while going through the game. I have experienced a good amount of Ups, but there are a couple of downs with some moments in the game.
When you first start the game, you get to play in several classes:
Handler
Challenger
Medic
Hunter
Summoner
Alchemist
The Gunslinger class is only available for Pre-Order, but we will probably see it as an Update or DLC for those interested.
Remnant II has upgraded their difficulty from their past games. Enemies are abit more intelligent, robust, and new Environments to die constantly from.
You can also switch your classes anytime to mix up the experience.
DLC
There are 3 Editions to Remnant II:
Delux Edition
Ultimate Edition
Standard Edition
Delux Edition
You get to unlock 3 Remnant from the Ashes Armor Sets
Elder Armor Set
Radiant Armor Set
Void Armor Set
Ultimate Edition
You get to unlock the following: Unlock all 3 Remnanat from Ashes Armor Sets.
Survival Pack
Expansion Pass to the DLC ( DLC will be launched within one Year)
Graphics-wise, Remnant II ran very well on my PC at the max of 16gb of ram; I have also heard the game reasons just as good on the console!
Recommended:
OS: Win 10
Processor: Intel i5-10600k / AMD R5 3600
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5700
Storage: 80 GB available space
Pros and Cons of Remnant II
Pros:
Good Enemy Variations
Vast new environments
Decent Character Customization
Good Story
Very Challenging on all levels ( Easier on Co-Op)
You will die alot on Solor and or Co-Op
Great Voice Acting
Cons:
Some particular levels, such as the " Chiemyney," were highly annoying with so many enemies and one character.
Bad Game Optimization ( If you have an older PC, the game won't work well )
There is a Trait Points cap which limits the creativity of Player builds
Verdict:
Remnant 2 is a significant improvement from Remnant from Ashes, a brand new world with more horrifying monsters and many adventures you can have with friends and others online.
It has been rated Very Positive on Steam and other consoles!
Remnant 2 gets a rating of Highly Recommended
