I'm still playing and till now I didn't found any major issues in this game and to be honest if you played this as a kid you probably would love the feeling while playing this. Don't wait and just jump into the "metal slug" universe and win the rounds.

A very nostalgic game but not for everybody here is why
A game that is like you are back to the 80s arcade the sound and pixel graphics are good for me because I used to play this kind of game, but most people not in this era especially the younger people, they will surely not be going to play this game (sad truth). If you like retro games like this, you should definitely play this game.

First of all, the game is beautiful. It feels both retro and certainly fresh at the same time, and I found it to be really nice. That being said, the gameplay is also great, and it feels like a retro arcade game from the 80's.
It's easy-to-understand, and the controls are what you would expect. The gameplay is quite dynamic, and it places a huge importance in dodging and shooting. Shots can also be angled and also bounce for better damage, and this makes the gameplay unique compared to other retro-style games.

Very nostalgic and such a good time killer. Highly recommend if you love the original game and like some sort of competition. Like the old one with simple yet exciting gameplay, with nice twists to it.
