Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is going to be released for PC, PS, Xbox, and NS players on October 4!
1K View2023-08-24Global video game publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment’s highly anticipated action-brawler video game, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd will come to unleash an absolutely good time when it lands on PC, PlayStations 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and NS on October 4.
Based on series creator Mike Mignola’s Hellboy graphic novels published by Dark Horse Comics, the game features an original storyline crafted in collaboration with Mignola, as well as the renowned voice talents of Lance Reddick as Hellboy himself. Mignola has also designed the game’s unique key art. Like the comics, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd sends Hellboy on a series of vastly different and wholly unique adventures: all tied to the mysterious legacy of The Butterfly House. Hellboy fans can’t miss this game!

We're pretty stoked for the upcoming new Hellboy game, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd. I mean, just look at this thing in action in the trailer above. It looks like the pages of Hellboy artist Mike Mignola's artwork come to life. If they can pull it off and make it fun, it's going to be killer.
Unfortunately, though, we got news today that we'll have to wait just a little bit longer to find out whether they pulled it off or not. Originally planned to launch on October 4, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd has been pushed back two weeks to an October 18 release.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd could be the perfect comic book game if it wasn't such a chore to play
SHOULD I PLAY HELLBOY WEB OF WYRD?
If you’re not a die-hard Hellboy fan, you should probably skip this one. Hellboy Web of Wyrd looks like a B.P.R.D. comic brought to life. It’s got spectacular visuals and excellent voice acting (including a lead performance from the late, great Lance Reddick), but it’s just not very fun to play. The sluggish combat and buggy gameplay sapped most of the fun out this game.
