So.. what's the deal here?
is the game active, but won't let certain new players in?
Or is it shut down, and it only looks active and is given updates for personal playing?
Edit: I got a good few moments of the game, and definitely now I think this deserves the respect for days, weeks, months.. no, years ago for the plan for making it ground up.
and it took me only a few moments to realize the few things I hadn't done months ago. lol
Permissions are necessary for most.. or rather all mobile and PC games to act properly with things like Sharing, Mics, or even allow the game itself to work, never seen a game that needs you to manually allow access, guess I'm slow to find a few (only one. lol) does need to be manually managed from the downloader's side.

ok, I cooled off, though I really liked to know. is it a requirement, or something? it does look like a good game, just a bit confused, that's all. I downloaded it two separate times, this review was after my second try, if anyone is wondering.

Author likedwell, as a matter of fact, I had a retry after you asked. I did download and it still didn't work, so I looked closer at what could be a problem, it needed the permission as well as a update before I could jump in. surely was an impatient phase I had, was no gameplay, so I didn't rate it unless I could get into the game, finally I can.
